Ms. Webb de Macías currently serves as Board Chair for the Los Angeles Partnership, a non-profit organization that manages 17 public schools through a Memorandum Of Understanding with the Los Angeles Unified School District, and as Member of the Board of the Community Coalition of South Los Angeles, a community education and advocacy organization. Previously Ms. Webb de Macías served in the office of Elementary and Secondary Education in the US Department of Education as an appointee of President Barack Obama from 2010-2012.
