The company owns 100% interest in its flagship property, Niñobamba silver and gold project covering an area of 4,490 hectares located in the Department of Ayacucho, Peru. It also holds 100% interest in the Gerow Lake property, a base metal project located in northwestern Ontario, Canada; and Palpa Dorado property located in Moro district of Santa province, Ancash, Peru. The company was formerly known as Escape Gold Inc. and changed its name to Rio Silver Inc. in October 2011. Rio Silver Inc. was incorporated in 2000 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
